JEE Main 2020 Application Correction Window: National Testing Agency (NTA) has concluded the online registration process for JEE Main 2020 January Exam.
With the online application process for JEE Main 2020 coming to an end, NTA will start the next phase i.e. application correction window from next week.
As per the official notification published on the JEE Main website, the JEE Main 2020 Application Correction window would open on 14th October 2019 and continue until 20th October 2019.

Why Application Correction Window?

NTA opens the application correction window for JEE Main 2020 exam following the conclusion of the application process.
During this window, candidates who have applied for the JEE Main 2020 exam are allowed to make changes or correct mistakes, if any, in their application form submitted earlier.
Candidates must note that the application correction window for JEE Main 2020 is a one time opportunity that is provided the students to make corrections.

Changes allowed only to a few fields

Even during the application correction window, the agency will only allow candidates to make changes in few fields only.
Last year, NTA had only allowed changes to candidates’ name, mother's name, father's name, etc.
Candidates were not allowed to make any changes to the exam city selected by them during the examination.

Image Correction

As part of the JEE Main 2020 application process, candidates have to provide or upload a scanned copy of a passport size photograph and their signature.
However, many candidates don’t upload these documents leading to rejection of their application form.
To avoid this, candidates are advised to make corrections to the images right now.
Candidates must note that the image correction process is already underway for JEE Main 2020 Janaury exam.
Candidates who have uploaded wrong images or blurred images are advised to upload the correct images right now.
